I took a free class on how to do cables. Here's a picture of a giant cable scarf I'm making for my mom. I don't really like the giant cable, but I had some Lion's brand thick yarn, and it was darksih green, so what better time to try some new skills? The giatn cables show up well on the dark green. I'd never do a small pattern on anything dark. It doesn't show up well.
